Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Sharp in the Euro 88 Qualification Group 7 match against Ireland played at Lansdowne Road, Dublin on the 15th October 1986. Both sides had drawn their opening games against Belgium and Bulgaria respectively and were looking to get their campaign up and running. Scotland had been to the last four World Cup's but had never qualified for the Euros while Ireland were still yet to reach a major tournament. The game here ended in a 0-0 stalemate with Sharp playing the full match in the midfield. The Everton star had been to Mexico '86 but won only 12 caps scoring 1 goal in his international career which was surprising considering his prolific exploits for The Toffees in the 80s with whom he won two league titles
